Jewish Philanthropy and Funding

The historical practice of giving Tzedaka directly to individuals or through community funds administered by local overseers has evolved into a complex of philanthropic and nonprofit organizations. These include community campaigns, foundations, and individual and corporate donors who provide support for overseas and local charities.
