WCJCS European Seminar at Marseilles, "Building A European Professional Community", a great success!

The WCJCS European Regional Seminar, held this year in Marseilles between October 17 - 18, was created in order to allow us professionals to meet and discuss our work and programs, get to know each other, and learn more about the professional activities carried out by our neighbors. The objective of the Seminar was to promote discussion among professionals in the Jewish world about the needs that occur in all countries: Eastern and Western Europe, the Mediterranean area, Israel and the Americas, for young and old together - on the education, social and cultural levels.

The Seminar was attended by Jewish Communal Professionals from around Europe and the world. Some of the professional presentations at the Seminar gave not only a current description of work done in their country, but also an overview of Jews and Jewish Service in their country from a historical point of view.
