A grant by the Charles R. Bronfman Foundation made it possible to launch the World Council of Jewish Communal Services Website in 2002. Site content was developed by a WCJCS Board Committee chaired by Prof. Armand Lauffer and staffed by Israel Office Coordinator Maayan Schneider.

Work on the JEWISH NONPROFIT RESOURCES section was facilitated through collaboration with: (1) The Jewish Faculty and Associates (JFA); and (2) the Sol Drachler Program in Jewish Communal Leadership. It was designed by consultant Danny Roth, webmaster Sasha Teper, and Armand Lauffer. The process was coordinated by Assaf Astrinsky, director of the WCJCS Israel Office.

| "BUILDING A STRONG JEWISH FUTURE IN A CHANGING WORLD - THE ROLE OF THE PROFESSIONAL" |
The WCJCS Quadrennial conference took place in Jerusalem, June 24-26, 2007 and was chaired by Jacob Solomon, Executive Director of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and Alan Hoffmann, Director General of the Department for Jewish Zionist Education at the Jewish Agency, and Dr. Marc Cohen, Director, OSE Medical Center, France. Over 700 Jewish Communal professionals from 33 countries attended this conference.

The WCJCS European Regional Seminar held in Marseilles, France between October 17-18, 2004 was a great success! It was attended by professionals from around Europe and the world, and was chaired by Dr. Marc Cohen, WCJCS European Vice President.
