The World Council of Jewish Communal Service (WCJCS) is a non-political, non-governmental organization of Jewish communal workers engaged in a variety of communal, educational and social services devoted to strengthening Jewish life and community both in Israel and the Diaspora.
Established in 1967, the mission of the WCJCS is to provide a vehicle for addressing world-wide Jewish concerns as well as to stimulate the professional-to-professional connection among individuals working on behalf of the Jewish community throughout the world.

| "BUILDING A STRONG JEWISH FUTURE IN A CHANGING WORLD - THE ROLE OF THE PROFESSIONAL" |
The WCJCS Quadrennial conference took place in Jerusalem, June 24-26, 2007 and was chaired by Jacob Solomon, Executive Director of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and Alan Hoffmann, Director General of the Department for Jewish Zionist Education at the Jewish Agency, and Dr. Marc Cohen, Director, OSE Medical Center, France. Over 700 Jewish Communal professionals from 33 countries attended this conference.

The WCJCS European Regional Seminar held in Marseilles, France between October 17-18, 2004 was a great success! It was attended by professionals from around Europe and the world, and was chaired by Dr. Marc Cohen, WCJCS European Vice President.
